Sunset Fluke Fishing in Full Swing

June 16 – The 5pm -9pm Sunset Fluke Fishing Trips are catching a mix of shorts and keepers up to 5lbs. so far this season. Fishing has improved with the warmer water temperatures of mid June. As always with Fluke fishing its all about having the right conditions for a good drift. Fishing is better for the whole boat when we have a good drift. On evenings when the drift is slow, the fishermen bouncing the Bucktails have had the most success. The bait of choice has been the spearing and strip of squid combo. Many fisherman bring their own equipment and have been successful using light fluorocarbon Leaders, assorted color Berkley Gulp’s and Spro Bucktail Jigs.
